Bloomaw
Shape-shifting Predator
Description
The Bloomaw is one of the most dangerous entities, appearing as an innocent black cat before transforming into a violent monster. It targets the closest player and can deal significant damage if it catches you unprepared.
Damage & Spawn
Counter Strategy
Flash your flashlight directly on it immediately when it appears. The light interrupts its attack animation and prevents transformation. Always have a flashlight ready when entering new rooms on deeper floors.
Spawn Behavior
Spawns exclusively after Floor 6. Can appear in any room but prefers darker areas. Transformation is instant when a player gets too close without light.
Pro Tips
- Keep flashlight ready when exploring Floor 6+
- Work in pairs - one person holds light, other searches
- If caught without light, sprint to nearest teammate
- Bloomaw prioritizes closest target - use this for positioning
Pit Maw
Floor Trap
Description
Pit Maws are stationary floor traps that emerge when players approach. They deal 30 damage and apply a stun effect, making you vulnerable to other threats in the area.
Damage & Spawn
Counter Strategy
Drop a large item (like a food crate) into its mouth to temporarily disable it, or hit it with a Baseball Bat or Shotgun from a safe distance. Multiple players can coordinate: one person lures while another attacks.
Spawn Behavior
Spawns in predictable floor locations. Remains active for approximately 10 seconds before retreating. Can spawn multiple times in same location during a run.
Pro Tips
- Listen for emergence sound - gives you time to react
- Large items disable it longer than small items
- Baseball Bat is most effective weapon counter
- Don't stand directly over spawn location
The Forsaken
Line-of-Sight Entity
Description
The Forsaken is a line-of-sight based entity that deals 40 instant damage if it spots you and you break eye contact. This makes it extremely dangerous in areas with obstacles or multiple rooms.
Damage & Spawn
Counter Strategy
Maintain continuous eye contact to stun it. Never turn your back or break line of sight. Work with teammates to cover angles - one person maintains stare while others search the area. If you must move, do so while facing the Forsaken.
Spawn Behavior
Common on Floors 4-6, often spawns in corridors where breaking line of sight is nearly impossible. Requires constant attention once spotted.
Pro Tips
- Never break line of sight - instant 40 damage
- Team coordination essential - rotate who maintains stare
- Plan routes to avoid tight corridors
- If caught alone, maintain stare and call for help
Human Mimic
Disguise Entity
Description
Human Mimics disguise themselves as other players, making team coordination crucial. They attack when you get too close, dealing 20 damage.
Damage & Spawn
Counter Strategy
Observe behavior patterns. Real players move with purpose (toward items, elevator, teammates). Mimics wander aimlessly or stand still in suspicious locations. Always verify player identity through communication or behavior before approaching.
Spawn Behavior
Can spawn anywhere, more common on deeper floors. Appears identical to players until attacked or close proximity triggers reveal.
Pro Tips
- Use voice chat to verify real players
- Watch movement patterns - mimics wander randomly
- Real players respond to communication
- Keep distance if unsure - observe for 10-15 seconds
Fridge Mimic
Object Disguise
Description
Fridge Mimics hide as interactive objects, making looting dangerous. Opening from the front deals 20 damage, potentially fatal if already injured.
Damage & Spawn
Counter Strategy
Always approach fridges from the side or back. Genuine fridges allow interaction from any angle, while mimics only trigger when opened from the front. If a fridge is in an unusual location (middle of hallway, away from walls), it's likely a mimic.
Spawn Behavior
Can replace any fridge spawn location. More common on deeper floors. Indistinguishable from real fridges until interaction.
Pro Tips
- Always open fridges from side or back
- Check fridge placement - mimics in odd locations
- Listen for mimic sound effect before opening
- Use Baseball Bat to test suspicious fridges safely
